Well then. Cubbies won the 2nd game of the dbl header and clinched the central.
Their first division title since '89. A 5 game Division Series starts tuesday in Atlanta against the Braves.
Helped John 'n' Kelly move yesterday. They are now officially "homo-ners". Nice lil house w/ seperate 2 car garage in Ridgeview, NW Davenport.
Ah, times of change. People going back to school, moving, starting new jobs. And Fall is here. And I have to say about that is, Fuck Fall. Its was colder than hell last night: had frost on my car this morning. Iowa sucks. I hate freezing my balls off all Winter.

Cubs win the first game of today's doubleheader.
Houston drops #2 in a row to the lowly Brewers.
STANDINGS W L % GB
Cubs 87 73 .544 -
Astros 86 75 .534 1.5
If the Cubs win either tonight or tomarrow, they clinch the NL Central Division Crown. If Houston loses again tomarrow, The Cubs also clinch.
If Houston wins tomarrow, and the Cubs drop their last 2, than there is a 1 game playoff in Chicago to determine the Central.

O.k. I have this tendency to avoid posting. Cause if I post, I will have to actually realize that I have been doing nothing to write about. Which is depressing. Holy Crap. Since Monday. Erm...
Wow. My life is slipping away, the sands of time blasting away my existence, and I just want a cheese burger. And a nice park bench to eat it on. I've just been staying busy. Workin around the house, helping Don...
I was pissed. Farley's step son's S-10 blazer 4x4 wasn't running right. I said I'd go look at it, blah blah.. 4 hours later I had figured out the fuel system was just screwy and that the fuel filter was clogged. So $.99 for a new one and the vehicle ran really well. John is just scraping by and they live in the west end, so I'm usually like "man just gimme $20 for my gas, cigs, and a cheese burger" when ever I work on a car or computer for him. Well some how I got screwed out of even that and I'm down to like my last 50 bucks. I don't mind helpin people fer free, but I can't afford to spend my whole day and 1/4 tank o' gas to get there and back..

Alllright. Home from the meeting. First day to start actually doing this thang.
Back From IRCNA 20. Good time, I had. Old school experience.
Stopped over ta Lisa's to fix a booting error on her old PC which she sold to her boss. No biggie. Loose/backwards floppy cable. Delivered Her and Tiff some Grape Jam/Jelly.
Decent Monday meeting, 21 peeps. The big fish/small pond Alcoholics didn't show up, so was a decently spiritual meeting. Very little of that "you gotta" stuff. Chuck from Cedar Rapids was in town. He's a "real" NA member, was good to see him.
I have decided to check into an apprenticeship. Can't stay with these job skills, can't handle re-being a student. But I can handle working for little or nothing for a while... Some thing crafty or old timey. Always been good with me hands. Jeweler, jewelry repair, watches...something like that..woodworking or antique restoration.
Tiff said her place was looking for a glass blower. I think I smoke too much..and not choads.
